Life’s traumas are God’s opportunities.

  • SUPRISE: This is a Health Crisis

During her time of need she was separated from her husband and there were seven teenagers and a four-year-old.

It all began with bad headaches. She realizes she seemed to be confused and got lost several times while driving her normal routine from work to home.

After a few days she went to hospital and found the e was fluid on her brain. They rushed her from Bethesda North Hospital to Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati for emergency surgery.

Before her surgery she appointed me her medical and financial Power of Attorney.

  • Phone Calls & Letters Pleading for Mercy

I signed her up for disability through her employer and began to contact creditors on her behalf. I used her savings to pay her bills until the money ran out. I had to ask and sometimes plead with her creditors to forgive her debt or suspend payments until we could figure it out. I pleaded with the management office of her apartment complex to cancel her lease without charging her an early termination fee for breaking the lease.

I was also able to convince them to return her security deposit if their move-out inspection was acceptable, which it was. I had to orchestrate a team to move her out of the apartment placing her furniture in storage.

I signed her up for Medicare, cash and food assistance through Job and Family Services, and for Social Security disability which did not take years, by the grace and favor of God, she was approved in less than nine months.

  • She could have died, BUT GOD... Life is Different, but she keeps pressing forward.

I also helped her family figure out what her healing process would look like once she was released from the hospital.

Her lifestyle had changed dramatically. She shares her testimony of how I was able to assist her and keep her from becoming homeless and drowning in debt with bad credit.

In 2009, her health crisis almost took her life, but God said, “not yet”. Today she is managing quite well for herself.

This is my sister Kimberly’s story.

I know many people do not have someone who will do for them as I did for my sister.

Through her health crisis and her Process of Healing, she experienced “A New You Rising”.
